Designing the path from Pinterest inspiration to a Shopify purchase.

Own the storefront experience, visual system, content and conversion journeys. Three years building on Shopify includes Bambana and Unwrapt’s earlier gift-sourcing work.

Bambana is my Shopify storefront, following the earlier EcoShopGuide identity. The product challenge spans discovery, trust, product selection and purchase.

The design responsibility

I own the visual system, content templates, storefront flows and conversion experience. I have three years of Shopify-building experience across Bambana and earlier Unwrapt gift sourcing. My broader commerce work also includes an affiliate funnel, which is measured separately from Shopify purchases.

Connect discovery to the store

The relevant journey begins before the landing page: the Pinterest creative establishes an expectation about a styled space. I used that context in the Expected Parrot experiment to identify hypotheses about product presentation, trust and brand clarity.

Evidence and next validation

I ran a 15-persona synthetic purchase-intent study and a separate 18-persona brand comparison. They helped frame experiments; they do not establish real conversion uplift. The next validation is observing actual shopper behavior and measuring comparable Shopify funnel windows.
